The Whispering Pine Plantation is a beautiful, plantation-style bed & breakfast nestled in the heart of the Virginia countryside. Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway, a place for a family gathering or just a place to get away from it all; we are just the place for you.

The Whispering Pine Plantation is located in Amelia, Virginia. Owned and operated by The Ashman Family, the plantation is less than an hour from Richmond, VA , the capital of Virginia and home to the VCU Rams. Richmond, VA has many museums, art galleries, clubs and attractions well suited for a quick day trip or night out. If you would like a slower pace, take a quick drive to the town of Farmville, VA. Home of Longwood University and Hampden Sydney College, this quaint town has many antique shops and unique dining options for the country at heart.

Rather kick up your feet and take it easy? Not a problem. Our bed & breakfast has all the comforts of home and more. You can also take a dip in our outdoor pool, curl up with a good book or just sit on the porch and drink in the beautiful Amelia countryside. Overnight stays include breakfast and dinner. Wine service is also available upon request.
